Futura 2.5m electric gear conversion

Postby Colin Gontier on Thu Jul 09, 2015 1:50 pm

Just had the electric gear conversion done for a customers large Futura. Uses existing retract units with electric screwjack ram and electric brakes.

Sturdy, very nicely done system. Conversion costs around £540.

If I hadn't just got mine working to perfection I probably would have had these done a few weeks back. Just a kinked pipe after all the problems I had
New toy on the way !

I think the cylinders on the mains are just a little on the small side for the length and weight of the main gear on the Futura. Im sure most have got them working OK but I'm a bit of an electric gear fanatic so this one has gone that way. Hopefully will be all good !
