New Home for PA Thrust 30 and 3s 2200

Postby Waggas on Mon Jan 25, 2010 7:49 pm

My PA Extra 260 has been abused enough and its time to get a new airframe for all the bits.

I never really got on that well with as it seemed almost too light. It seemed to be more of a kite than a plane and was a handful in any wind . Probably me being crap though!! :)

I have 3s 2200 batteries and would like to use them rather than going to 4s (as seems to be happening with the 30e size models lately)

Any suggestions of something suitable, I've seen the Overlander 30e models look ok and good price.

I'm thinking maybe a small freestyle/pattern style plance would be better as an all weather type model.

If you guys have any advice that would be great.

Cheers
