I agree Dave. I sympathise with you if you'd travelled some distance. The organisers would do well to have slots there without a doubt.
For me we travelled an hour, which wasn't too bad, and like you say, there's always some EPP thing up - we were just waiting til the real novices were down - it didn't take long to work out who was an accident waiting to happen, and who could actually fly. There's usually a mix - those EPP'ers that keep crashing into anything, the EPP nutters, that want to break the world speed records, and then those that are happy to poodle around doing circuits - we were waiting til it was mostly the latter.
At the end of the day, we still had fun. I wouldn't want to fly any expensive shockie there, and you have to expect to get mid-aired. What I did love about it, was that having so much time, there was no real rush, oh, and for me it was real cheap, as kids were free, so I didn't have to pay for Matt (even though he flew more than me

), so it cost me a tenner for both of us for 8 hours. I also got plenty of time to natter, which was good - oh, and of course to give Fabien some tips on his flying - I think he learnt a great deal from me - these world champs need a bit of polishing you know

Cheers,
Darren
