Easy fella! ;) You won't like Tigger when he turns nasty. Saying that, his bounce is worse than his bite.

Very little control needed once locked in the hover outside, inside without any wind it tends to torque roll a lot-great for U/C in practice!!
We are £92...stock is very limited to all dealers, it depends when they ordered whether they got from first batch, no one is getting lots.

Mmmm :!:

Nothing like that. 1-2mph, it's a bag of air. Not much fun in any wind, flat calm days do happen...

Bit of information that most of you will have seen if you use other forums but may be useful to some.

The stock setup on the 4-site has dual aileron servos but RX configured as a virtual Y lead. Makes programming easy as you just set it up as a single servo wing on TX. The RX is quite programmable however: http://www.horizonhobby.com/ProdInfo/Fi ... rGuide.pdf

Bit of interest is the section where you can effectively make it 2 servo wing. Have to use the Flapperon programming on DX7 etc but does mean you can do some nice mixes and differential.

I receieved 5 of these this morning:-

Spec.
Capacity: 180mAh
Voltage: 1S / 1 Cell / 3.7v
Discharge: 15C Constant
Weight: 4.8g (including balance & discharge plug)
Dimensions: 38x12x8mm - Fits many standard chargers (extension cable can be used if required)
Balance & Discharge Plug: JST-XH

http://miniaviation.com/KM_180_5P.html

I haven't had chance to fly them at an indoor sports hall, but i did try them out just hovering, started off hovering just over half on the throttle but by the time I was finished was pretty much on full, I managed a little over 6.30 before the first signs of LVC kicked in, this was a battery that had only the initial charge on it after it had dropped through the mail this morning.

They are shorter than the e-flite 150's by the size of the black piece that fits on the end. They are a little fatter probably talking 3-4 mm but fit in the Celectra charger with no problems. On the charging note the first pack has just started to blink in the Celectra after 25 minutes.

My initial impressions are good, again haven't had chance to use them properly but if the hovering is anything to go by they should compete with the 150's nicely. At £22 for 5 (not including postage) they are cheaper than the e-flite ones. Time will only tell on how long they last, but so far so good.

Ok ive flown mine about 10 flights on it and it is very good, i have now fitted the airbrakes which has slowed the flight down dramatically but does zap the pack a bit quicker. Im gonna order some off those 180 packs. 8-)

Had a couple of flights today. Very nice. Hovering was better than I expected but rudder seemed awfully twitchy. Bit more expo I think would have cured that.

Lovely harriers. Had brakes on and was very slow.

Hyperion meant to be bringing out a new 130 pack. Same form factor and connector but 25C rather than 12C of EFlite one and 5C charge rate.

Check your fuselages for a left curve, taking it out will improve the flight characteristics..

Finally got to maiden my Forsyth last night when my club had an indoor meet. Love the little thing to bits, it flies like a dream and even made it look like I knew how to fly cos it sits in a harrier so contentedly. But! Is it just me or is it a bit delicate. Mine came back home with several tears in the material due to fairly slow speed arrivals. Will need a pretty serious CA and blenderm session before it fights again.

Mind you, others faired worse. A little parkzone micro cub flew through the blades of a 400 size electric heli and emerged in about 6 equal sized pieces. Nice satisfying POP! sound as it was shreaded. Indoor flying is fun!

Yeah it is pretty flimsy, but then its very light anyway, most of my damage is where the top wing joins the fuse - its slowly eating through the canopy. Might get another PNP one, as with the one i have now I have down a lot of house hovering with and - well - it shows :?
