HANGAR 9 DECATHLON C of G

Postby aerorusty on Sat May 19, 2018 10:45 am

Hi Though strictly not an aerobatic airframe , does anybody out there own a Hangar 9 Decathlon.
My query is with the CofG setting.

Mine is set about 20mm rear of the advised setting. It is very sensitive to Rudder control but everything else is quite tame. The problem lies on landing when it comes in quite fast and feels very nose heavy which indicates a Forward CofG.
Does anybody else have this problem or could give me advice as to which way to go.
My feeling is a more rearward CofG and plenty of Expo on the Rudder.

Any comments please
