Do we know if they're fitting them with the chunky "funfly" pilot wings or the newer thinner ones?

Bugger off Wilshere - I've got too much stuff to build as it is and my new Yak should hopefully be here soon!

I'm 100% sure you said you'd been working so hard the millions were bursting your account and you should buy many toys...

So, after picking at this all year I have made time this week to attack this...when the weather is cold! I decided to go electric using one of the Graupner 50-60cc outrunners.
12s 5000's 160A Graupner HV ESC. MacGregor 5921 and 6928 servos. Mixture of Graupner's funky forked arms.

Couple more. To keep things light I used the PT composite board, Herex for the rudder mount and 3mm ply for the 12s 'bricks'

Managed to get it done late last night and had three flights today. No set up work at all, the guessed settings were good enough to fly the power train and see where we are. Pull out of the prop hang is good, flight times look like being 6.5-7 minutes with the Overlander 5000 45c and 5800 35c packs I have. 8.42kg with 12s 5000's

When we get a calmer day I'll do the remaining tweaks. Should get some flying shots from Chipmonk Pete in the next few days
