Servo help???

Postby dwazzer on Fri Jul 29, 2016 7:58 am

Would you mix the servo models on the same surface...?

I have enough servo's for the model (Krill Sukhoi 2.6m) but it uses 2 servo's per aileron!

I only have 3 of the same model (Hitec 7954SH) but I do have 2 7955's as well!

Would you put a 7954 and a 7955 on a single surface? Obviously they would be balanced in the Tx (or via the servo programmer), or should I get another 7954 (or 2 7955's!).... :?

Help and opinions appreciated!

Cheers, Dave.

I'd rather put 2 the same on each surface but a different pair on the other wing. Unlikely you'll feel any issue in flight and it's better than 2 fighting each other on the one surface.

get a 4th you tight arse and be done with it :violin:
only time might notice any difference is if you bang the sticks and one side is faster than the other ausing a bit of differential
but don't think you would notice that much
Due to economic circumstances, the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off until further notice

Go with 4 of the same and save the chances of it doing weird stuff!

And check the incidences ;)
