Kyosho Spitfire

Been picking away at my Birthday present (to myself!) 50 size Spitfire with Saito 63. Beardy flies an ME109 and since the git sold my alternative to my Me109, we had 'boy on boy-girl on girl' German action mid-airs.
This Spitfire will give the attack more authenticity!

Spent the morning trimming the cowl around the cylinder and exhaust block, can't quite keep everything inside, but its only "squint" scale

Dave,

These fly really well, but check the glue round the bulkhead. Seen a few come loose.

Bulkhead going no where, I've never assembled an ARF without redoing most key joints, sealed the tank bay with epoxy etc

Okay chap, I'm not surprised with the standard you build to.

Enjoy your birthday present.

Came in today to catch up on some orders and do more to a customers Xmas prezie (Xcalibur RAF) so thought I'd do something to my Birthday prezie before heading off to Star Wars!
Trick for ensuring gap on split/inserted flaps. Two bits of masking tape, glue hinges, remove tape and clearance!

Starting to look OK!
