Yeh, I agree, the sim is no real actual use as a practise tool other than to learn a new sequence. I do find it useful for that, it helps me map it out in my head and in space. You can't tell a thing about depth, height etc on a sim and the planes are never for real. I think it is really just a bit of fun for when you are bored and can't get out.

We have been busy in the background making lots of improvements to the http://imacuk.org website. The most important part is a heavily updated resources section aimed at newcomers.

In this section you will find information on Aresti, videos of the Sportsman sequence being flown and lots of easy to digest information on how you are scored under the judging section.

Do take a look if you are thinking of giving IMAC a go in 2016.

Arun, the new IMAC website is very good. There is lots of great help and info and it works better on an iPad or tablet.

Well done to everyone who worked on it.

Afternoon,

Are there any provisional dates and locations for competitions for 2016? I am keen on returning in 2016 but need to have an idea of dates with work etc.

Blimey, not much near to West Sussex! Are these usually run over 2 days or one? I work on Saturdays, so I'm not sure this bodes well for having a go this year?

Well, I guess that's me out then as my job doesn't allow days off.

Still going to practise though (once I've got my Yak repaired).
