Will there be instruction on how to do the sliding tail at the training weekend?

Yes, we will show you how to perform a tailslide 10.0% of the time. At least.

I think I actually got 3 out of 4 today. Twas a strong wind, or "light breeze" as us Scots say - gusting 30mph according to XC Weather, 45 degrees out, bumpy as bejaysus. Of course, this now means I'll probably nail absolutely none of them in competition! At least my rolling circles are improving :) My 3W 170 with its ever so slightly leaky front end seems to be drying up as well and I can now start it again without having to constantly re-choke it. Its a German......and it can be bloody reluctant unless you know how to handle it. At least it hasn't exploded like my ZDZ did. Chocks away.
