Thanks Allan, room booked for the 19th April, so yes, we will be there that weekend.

Just one person flying, plus two spectators :D

Do I need to do anything now, other than turn up? :?

No problem! I know how hard it is to get this kind of thing organised. There will be other years...:)

You can still attend competitions. There is no requirement for you to go to the training event just to come to the comps. Turn up at one of those and have a go. Visit the website and see which one is the nearest.

Arun - one option is to bring the family - a lovely Easter weekend away (hmm ok). There are a number of people at Phoenix who can give you some pointers if you can't make it to the training weekend. Cashmoor is a great site if you are free on the 17th May, and an easy drive for you. Determined to have my Extra ready in March so that will be down Phoenix soon for a maiden.

IMAC TRAINING WEEKEND.

Postby nigelkern on Tue Feb 18, 2014 1:34 pm

Unfortunately I have my kids that weekend too so I won't be able to make it either.
Simon I will hopefully catch up with you at the Phoenix and you can give me a few pointers if that ok with you?
Good luck with the 260.
I have rebalanced my 300 so hopefully she will be nicer to fly the precision stuff with now.
I hope the weather is good for you at the Barkston

Unfortunately I will not be attending now. :(

I have a paid up room in the premier inn Grantham were some are staying.

It is a twin room as I was sharing with my old man so was £69

If anybody wants it they can have it for the price of a single.

Cheers

The training weekend has had to be moved last minute, as the RAF have stopped all
model flying at Barkston. [ the Nats is safe ? ]
We have moved it to Langer, http://www.langarmac.co.uk/
Same date, and there is camping on site.
