Hi Mick,

I fly electric and at the 6S level I'd say you are looking at the Sebart 50 series (Mythos 50, Edge 540 50S) with e.g. a Hacker A50 motor and 70A esc (e.g. Jeti Advance 70 Pro Opto) and at 30cc (180 glow) you are at 10S on an Axi 5325 / Axi 5330 / Hacker Q80 type motor with 100 Amp esc (e.g. Jeti Spin 99). The Mythos 125 "will" fly on a decent 6S if you only want to do level flights but you really need 8S and 10S is the best place to be with that one.

The Andrew Jesky range sold by GasHanger is worth looking at, as well as the Pilot range.

Hope this helps,

Tom

Thanks for the info pal How would 12s via two 3300s fair on a 30cc size airframe?

Hi Mick
I get about 9 minutes from 2 x 5S/5000 packs so as 3300 is 66% of 5000, you are looking at about 6 minutes. My times are for an F3a plane so can't really comment on what you would get from a draggier 3D model. I think you would want to be botty about the weight though as 3300's are probably a bit on the small side. It might be worth asking in the "Electic Flight" section of this forum.

Thankyou for the input and help lads :) I am selling some gear now to get the funds and deciding what i need.

The airframe is a profile extra roughly 30cc size so im not sure if i need 6s or 10/ 12s yet

Thanks
Mick
