Didn't know you were into control line these days! ;)

If I can make it I'm going to give fun fly a bash, looked like some laugh. It'll be a win it or bin it effort from me though, sort of Dan Workman style but with less hair! :D

 Fun fly does look like good fun. You need to get back to IMAC Chris. Memorising all those funky arrows and triangles for the unknown on the Saturday night after one or two beers (bottles of rouge if you are Steven Currie) is too much fun to miss :)

Brian, do it.

I'm mentally a teenager, so its just the body giving anything away.

Actually this month marks 5 years since I last flew in competition, I always enjoyed the nats, especially my best results in 2010, but not so much my two crashes in 2011! :( Can't see an IMAC return anytime soon, but never say never. The unknowns were good though, learned a lot during my IMAC career. :)

Yes IMAC is really good. Competitions aside I get a lot out of just practising it. Really challenging memorising and flying unknowns etc.

I missed that Nats in 2011 but I saw the vid. Those high power "Lesebergs" are tricky!

The Leseberg was actually 2009, 2011 was the year my H9 suk fell apart, then I flew my sebart into the sun during my freestyle and crashed. I think I'll stick with even years, if it's on in 2018 I'll be there!

Sounds like this could be the last time we experience the 'joy' of a complete Nationals over one weekend if the BMFA have their way. Another nail in the coffin IMO, each event would have its own event at the NFC, but no more trade, no more mass free flight and everyone mixing and talking.
